Owing to the rapid expansion of our school, the following teaching positions will become available from August/September 2008.
Teacher of Mathematics (IGCSE and A Level)
Teacher of Physics (IGCSE and A Level)
Teacher of Chemistry (IGCSE and A level)
Teacher of Business Studies (IGCSE and A Level)
Teacher of Economics (IGCSE and A Level)
Teacher of Geography (IGCSE)
Teacher of Information and Communication Technology (IGCSE)
Teacher of Art and Design (IGCSE and A Level)
Job descriptions:
1.Teach relevant IGCSE and A level subject course, in English, in accordance to the CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) syllabus
2.Assign appropriate homework and correct homework in a prompt manner
3.Supervise students and keep a accurate record of student's learning progress
4.Prepare students’ periodic school reports
5.Attend meetings as requested (e.g. parents’ meetings, staff meetings, as well as any other appropriate meetings/promotional events),
as may be reasonably required, at the discretion of the centre
6.Carry out various other periodic duties designed to enhance the learning experience of students and smooth functioning of the centre
(e.g. detention duty)
7.Participate in and/or help organize extracurricular activities
8.Provide reference letters and possibly guidance services to students for their university applications.
The minimum requirements:
1.University bachelor degree or above in the relevant subject
2.2+ years teaching experience in a recognized organization (A-level or IB teaching experience preferred)
3.Teaching certificate preferred
4.Care and sensitive towards other cultures
5.High commitment to teaching excellence
6.Good team player
